Details
Five prayer flags, each with 25 pennants and printed mantras. The flags can be knotted together to form a long chain. Colorful fluttering prayer flags can be found wherever Tibetan Buddhism is practiced. In India, Nepal and Tibet, they are displayed on temples, roofs, bridges and sacred places. The colors of the individual flags represent the five elements water (blue), fire (red), air (green), earth (yellow) and ether (white). By hanging them up, the wind carries the mantras depicted on the flags around the world. The flags slowly fade in the wind and are constantly replaced by new ones.
